yes, they are high in BCAA's. but you don't want any fats in the post workout meal or shake. just cook the whites and save the yolks for later. fats slow gastric emptying or the time that it takes stomach contents to migrate to the small intestine where the majority of digestion takes place. 15-20 grams of protein is fine here. then consume another whole food meal about 1.5 hours after that.

Not really for a postworkout meal. They could upset your stomach. After a workout, your body needs more readily-available protein...meaning the more liquid, the better.

Mens Health published a research article a few months ago...a group of scientists showed that the best postworkout protein is in chocolate milk...now there's some advice we can drink to!

Eggs are good about three hours after your workout, or the morning of a workout day if you aren't working out until the afternoon or evening.

they are very high in protein but only if you do not have high cohlesteol
