Cannot install this game. My computer has enough spec. Even changed the game at the shop and alas still no joy. Recyclic Redundancy error on installation. Has anybody else had this problem? Seems like I am missing out on a good game :(

I assume your CD/DVD drive works fine with other CD's so I am going to guess it's the stupid 'copy protection' / 'anti-piracy' system

1) The game CD is not a 'real' CD - it has fake data directories and data in 'fixed' areas outside the normal CD 'tracks' etc to fool the Pirates. The Installer knows where the special data areas are and asks your CD/DVD drive to position it's read head outside the 'normal' written area. For some reason (for example, you are installing via a networked drive or your drive has some special 'caching' driver or just simple mechanical limitations) your CD/DVD drive can't reach these areas.

2) During install the game writes anti-copying data to 'hidden' areas on your hard disk .. there is some issue (RAID cache, anti-virus s/w, crash recovery software making copies etc) that is preventing the data from being written to your hard disk

The final possibility is that you are a Software Developer and you have Debuggers installed - needless to say, as part of the anti-piracy protection, if the Installer detects resident apps. that could be used to monitor what the Installer is doing, it refuses to run.
