Did Noah ever warn the people?
If so, what did they say in response?
and in the King James version it says something about 600 years...What's that about?
Sorry if I sound rude, no intentions
Thanks In Advance

Hi there,
I study in the manuscripts;
The 600 years you are referring to, I can only figure would be Noah's age at the time.
As far as warning the people, oh yes, Noah was a fabulous preacher, and preached against the very reason that the flood was coming. Angels had left their habitation and come to earth to seduce and marry human women. What they really wanted was to get Noahs daughters to participate, but Noah would not have it. You see, this was Satans second attempt (in this flesh age) to pollute the pure line of lineage, that down the ages, womb-to-womb, via the house of David, would come the Christ. The first attempt to pollute that line was in the Garden of Eden when Eve was seduced and Cain resulted.
Anyway, these Angels were marrying women and children were being born of those unions. The flood was sent to kill off the influx of these hybrids. Most scholars (I agree) do not believe the flood to be of the entire earth, but as scripture says "upon the world of the ungodly"; the world of the ungodly, or the geographical location of the ungodly was where the flood came - since these angelic/human offspring were not in the rest of the world, but in one specific area, there was no need to flood the entire earth. You can read of the sins of these ungodly angels in the only chapter of the Book of Jude.

People live a lot longer back then. Noah spent 120 years just building the ark. According to Rabbinic literature, the reason Noah took so long was that he wanted people to ask what the heck he was doing building a huge boat in his backyard. That was his opening to warn people that things were going to get wet.

A global flood was proven impossible long ago.

A flood of that magnitude would have left evidence over every piece of land, not just scattered remnants, there is no evidence anywhere of a global flood.

There is only so much water in our atmosphere. Now I, a student of the Bible, realize that the text says something(probably geysers) under the sea broke open, but even with all the water in the earths crust we would still not have enough water by a longshot.

Another option is a giant comet, which carry large amounts of water, but again, not even close to enough H20, and our planet would be immensely damaged.

Lets say God just made the water appear, and then made it all vanish from our atmosphere when Noah landed. With the amount of water it would take to flood the earth above the Himalayas, approximately 4 times the water presently on Earth, a person would literally drown instantly, only by breathing in the air! And this goes for almost all land mammals.

Another thing that raises a flag is that the scriptures say the ark was made solely out of wood. This in itself is not the problem, as most of the boats of the time were. The measurements were given pointing to an ark nearly the size of the titanic. A boat this size made out of wood would have cracked and sunk in the water within minutes, even if there was no cargo aboard. The cargo would have weighted more the boat itself.

There was a man before Noah, named Enoch, mentioned in Genesis 5. God told him to warn the people, but no one listened because they were after their everyday indulgences. (Just like today.) This is found at Jude 14-16.
Noah was 600 years old when the flood began. It took several years for him to build the ark because it was so huge. People obviously saw him building something of that size! And he told them about God's plan to destroy whoever continued following their own desires. But who listened? No one. And what happened to them? They were, in fact, destroyed, just as they were warned.
So, you see, today, there are people going around and warning others about the end of this system of things, but who's listening? Not very many. But, when God says He's going to do something, He certainly follows through.

Yes Noah did warn the people. However, just like people today they laughed and made fun of him because it had never rained upon the earth.
I can imagine this happening since lots of people today laugh and make fun of christians. Some don't believe in God or that Jesus ever died on the cross. Many are looking for a sign or to see with their own eyes, like doubting Thomas.

Doesn't matter. That is nothing but another bullshiit story anyway. Even the little ones amoung us who can do math don't believe it, though some find it entertaining. If one cubit is approximately 2 feet and the bible describes it as a 40 x 80 cubit boat then most would guess that living space would be just a wee bit cramped. By the way sir, where did you get that "titanic" shiit from?

Yes Noah warned the people that a flood was coming, they all laughed at him because it has never rain from the clouds before, the earth was watered by a midst at night, Noah warned them for 120 years. Now the 600 yrs. you want to know about, when the flood came Noah was 600 yrs. old, & when it subsided he was 601 yrs. old, Or to be exact we can say he was into his 600 yrs, of age when it started & into his 601 yrs. after it resided, Because Noah live to be 950 yrs old or 300 yrs after the flood.

I BELIEVE THE BIBLE [ Noah age 600 Gen.7:6; at flood year, none to listen to any warning Matt.24:3,37-39 ];

I believe the bible is fact, is truth, it is exact,
That violence did last, to end with Noah in an ark,
It is meant to tell us how evil does rule to death,
From Abraham, to Lot and Job, see land pirate acts.

Also Sodom and Gomorrah not even ten for a land law,
God's angels aren't safe to visit lawlessness so raw,
They merely survive as nomads upon land pirates soil,
Until all 70 in family, end up in Egyptian's turmoil.

At the time of Moses, all infant males are to be slain,
His parents come up with a plan that works to save him,
By the time he is age 80, Pharoah has no heir to reign,
Guess he learned how it felt, when he was killing them.

Noah in ark year 1656, now 857 years later heirs flee,
At 897 years, the land pirates land, is all they see,
They are to destroy 7 nations & Promised Land is free,
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses & Joshua be.

A Priest line, a king line, the judges, all are family,
From the 12 tribes of Jacob, past 4 generations to see,
Judges 11:26; 301 years is 1198, land not trouble free,
Now Eli, Samuel, Saul to king David who brings peace.

So heir Solomon at 1Ki.6:1;480 years a temple to be,
He had 36 years to die 1413 after Noah, and 997 BCE
The 18 Judah kings end in 391 years, no temple to see,
All land is desolate and captive to Babylon Empire #3,

At 1804 years after Noah, All rebuilt by Cyrus decree,
Past 1874. Daniel 633-533, O.T. 39 books, done 443 BCE
Soon the owner of the universe amid land pirates to see,
A simple man named Jesus has no freedom here in speach.

All that he owns is clamed by Satan, Romans and priest,
He is crucified, resurrected & ascends to God's presents,
To wait until Satan & 1/3 angels cast down as enemies,
Prepares place for raised & caught up at last day as his.

To be with him at his coming and he reigns 1000 years,
The heavenly resurrects those earthly to have no tears,
All is made new & perfect & the perfect have no fears,
A new heaven & new earth is paradise, all forever his.

I don't think Noah told many people what he was up to. When God commissioned him to build the arc, he told Noah that he was going to destroy everybody but his own family, so there would be nothing to warn anybody about. He couldn't have saved them by warning them.

Noah was 600 years old when the flood started.

The story of the flood was an April fools day prank played on the public a long long time ago.
