You should eat everything in moderation. Pasta does not have many nutrients. It is a white carbohydrate, like white bread. It's made of bleached wheat. Balance pasta with vegetables and protein, and if possible, eat whole wheat pasta instead of white pasta. It not only tastes better, but it's better for you.

No the Italians eat pasta as a starter dish. If it is your main dish you can vary the sauces and ingredients, you can have fish, meat or cheese, add some herbs and or spices. Oregano with tomato traditional and very good.
Remember to have a side dish of salad with olive oil dressing, healthy option.
The quantity you eat is relevant to the calorific value of size of single portion, try a cereal bowl instead of a dinner plate

In moderation it's good for you but not everyday. Some pastas can be good for you like enriched white pasta's which contain folic acid. Wheat is even better which cotains a good amount of fiber. Carbs gives us energy but too much carbs can be bad.

Try pastas with fresh vegetables and that are made with whole grain noodles. Eat reasonable portions and increase your fruit and vegetable intake. Drink lots of water. Everything should balance itself out.

In Italy we have pasta quite every day, once a day. When we don’t, we eat rice or vegetable soup.
It is as healthy and nourishing as bread. Nutritionists suggest to eat no more than 80g/person.
Ciao.

A cup of pasta with tomato sauce and a slice of bread and a cup of juice are good choices before you exercise.Ideally a pre exercise meal should provide enough fluid to maintain hydration. too much may harm you, especalliy if its spicy.

It's high calorie & low nutrition.
And a serving size is only a half cup!
You're better off eating more fresh vegetables & fruits, that have vitamins in them.
