Be confident and have a passion other than him, or appear that way. Approach him generally, not as if you want to be all over him. Smile and do your research as to what's hot on his list in all aspects: school, religion, family, hobbies.
If you care that much!
Never change who you are, if he doesn't like it move on. You'll be glad you did!

Be yourself, try to be around him a lot, to talk, laugh, and hang out-but don't make it look obvious that you like him. eventually, he'll start to see you're a fun person to be around!!! O yah-and look good!!!! =)
