It's dumb.
You should follow the religion that is in your heart. Not hers.

if you changed your religion from islam to any other religion for any reason....yes it's a big huge sin and it's called apostasy..!

i don't know about changing from christianity to islam or any other religion...
but if you changed it to islam then ...it's not a sin in what i believe ...no it's a bless from god..

peace to you

Islam and Christianity are more brothers than enemies. Really read the texts, I think you will find that your belief changes little. It is the same God, how could it be sin to keep worshipping the same God?

You might be able to changeyour title for that, but unless you truly believe the religion you are converting for, your eally aren't changing religions. I work with a guy who withstood a lot of pressure to change religions for his friend, but he decided he only wanted to do it if he really believed. They got married and several years later he felt the Spirit and joined her religion. He is so happy now, because he did things for the right religion. do what you feel is right, but don't succumb to pressure if you really don't believe.

It's not a "sin," but it's not very wise to convert to another religion for someone else. If you don't truly believe in it, don't do it.

It is your choice, not hers. I think everyone should try rejecting their own religion since this is part of searching for truth. Maybe trying hers on for size will help you become a more spiritual person.

What is her motivation in getting you to change? Hopefully she is worried about your welfare, not hers.
