Fight it in court.....if it's your first one they will most likely just make you make a donation or they will take the ticket away completely.....If it was out of state....then it won't go on your insurance if you pay it.

The answer to this question can vary wildly depending on where you live. If you live in a jurisdiction that recognizes "deferred adjudication", sometimes called "deferred disposition", ask the court for that. If they grant it, the ticket does not go on your driving record if you pay a fine and do not get another ticket within a specified period of time. Some courts have other conditions as well.

you can contact the prosecutor for the municipality that you got the ticket from, there's usually a number on the ticket. most places will allow you to pay double the fine, and have the ticket amended to a non-moving violation, which doesn't go on your record, so your insurance won't care. take note, most cities will only allow you to do this 1 time per year by yourself. lawyers are able to do it multiple times, but it's more expensive. if they say ok, you'll most likely need to go to court on the date listed and pay the double-fine.

You will get a court date, get a lawyer and go to court, you will be assigned traffic school and then it will not go against your insurance.

It'll cost you a few dollars, the lawyer will be about 100-150 and the speeding fine and court costs maybe another 150-200, assuming you weren't really flying when they caught you.

Wait until your renewal to see if they raise your rates. If they do then go online & find a cheaper company. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

They will find out when you renew your policy. Most insurance companies check the driver's record at renewal, your premium will go up at that time.

I heard this story, and I think it's an urban legend, but what the heck. When you pay the fine lets say that it's $100 write a check to them for $105. Then they will send a check to you for five dollars. Rip up the check. The transaction will never be completed it stays off your record. I'm betting urban legend, but it never hurts to try.

You can go to the District Attorney and request and expungement. Or go to court and most offer for you to take a driving course in lieu of the ticket going on your record. Speak with an attorney.

confident, it somewhat is coverage fraud. The coverage agency (looking on who they are) will probable purely improve your fees for the three years till the fee tag comes off your license; although, looking on what state you're in, they have the ideal to cancel your coverage on the top of this six month era. getting into right into a settlement and mendacity to get the different social gathering to settlement with you is against the regulation in some states. it somewhat is harsh, yet extra ideal you already know up front.
