Everytime i drink water weather its tap or bottle i have a horrible mettalic taste in my mouth,its been happening for the past 3 days, does anyone know why??

It could be a number of things, from side effects of prescribed medication to an undiagnosed illness. If this is concerning you greatly, I strongly recommend you see your GP or dentist - especially if this is accompanied by other symptoms such as a sore rash/ redness in the mouth, blue -tinged gums, nausea/ vomiting or headaches.

Are you on the adkins diet? I did it for awhile and I always had a bad taste in my mouth. It has to do wiht the extra protein you are taking in. Add flavoring to your water to help get rid of the taste. Good luck

Are you taking any medication at the moment as this can make everything taste like metal.

Some drugs have a bad taste side effect. Lunesta, for one, produces that taste you describe.

do u have braces or fillings? R u taking any medication?
If none of the above, u may have a virus or something or it may have to do with chemicals in your body. If it keeps up, see a doctor.

Could be pregnant
But that can happen anytime not just when you drink water
So maybe its just your taste buds are highly active

most people have experienced this at some time .try adding a fruit juice to the water

have you been eating cheese ?. when you have been eating cheese and then drink beer or lager say, its been said this makes your drink taste funny. may be the same for water.
