Heaven doesn't exist. What is the point of speculating about something that is imaginary?

Heaven is a city-state, it has pillars with the history of the saints
who lived victoriously, it has libraries of the lives of saints.
There will be continuous parties, there is the tree of life and only
the winner believers go there. There will be degree's of happiness. There is the basic happiness for the Christian who
believed in the LORD but didn't care to learn about Him. Take the time and read Rev. 2:7, 2:17, 2:26, 3:4, 3:5, 3:12. There is
so much we don't know. We all will have our new glorified
bodies and we will be just like out Lord.

We cannot lose our salvation, He keeps us forever, so even
if a so-called atheist now, once believed he will be there.
What a shock for him/her.

We can't compare it to anything on this earth. Plus, there will
be no sin there. So, with everyone being sinless like our Lord there will be no jealously, hate envy, strife etc.

There are different types of angels, some have 6 wings and others none. But because we are His body we are considered higher than angels.

No one knows exactly what heaven (or hell) will be like.

Heaven is eternal life with God; communion of life and love with the Trinity and all the blessed.

Heaven is the state of supreme and definitive happiness, the goal of the deepest longings of humanity.

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell."

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, "I don't understand."

"It is simple" said the Lord, "it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."

With love in Christ.

Dear Andres,

I don't think that there are words, or at least not human words, to describe it.

Have you read C.S. Lewis' The Great Divorce, A Bus ride from Hell to Heaven, A One-Way Trip for Some A Round Trip for Others?

I highly recommend it

I just remembered Cat & Dog Theology which is lots of fun to listen to, deals with the topic of heaven & hell.

The Bible isn't all that clear about what heaven is like. My understanding is that "time" isn't a factor anymore ... so we wouldn't have to chose among different activities.

My speculation is that it will involve infinite opportunities to learn ... from the masters ... and then to delight our Father with our progress.

My other speculation is that God has infinitely challenging tasks beyond our comprehension that need to be done ... and this life sorts out people who will be appreciative, loyal, and devoted to serving God, and can thus be trusted and rewarded with incredible powers.

One thing to consider: how much nicer Earth would be if you could count on everyone having good motives, and trying to do the right thing. Our "sin nature" (selfishness and rebellion) would be replaced with a sincere desire to please God and love our neighbors. WWJD. About the only laws left would be things like which side of the road to drive on.

first of all the reward of the saved is eternal life. secound why would Jesus becoming to earth to set up his Fathers Kingdom if we were going to heaven. Why does the scripture tell us God will dewell upon the earth. you will not be going there to hang out. Those who take part in the first resurection will be son's and daugthers of God. you will be a royal priest hood. kings and judges and preist's. you will have the same job to do as Jesus. But He is King!

Let's see, twenty virgins, no infidels, oops, wrong religion....

Seriously, an openly loving environment similar to what Jesus was trying to show us a small piece of while he was on Earth. I don't believe we will have the same types of senses as we have here on Earth - like smells, sight, hearing, taste, etc... I believe it will be a state of total loving coming in and going out from each soul that is there.

Just my thoughts

God tells us in the Bible, we can't possibly imagine how beautiful it will be; not only in appearance, but in terms of the joy we'll feel, and so much more. Anything we can think of, will not even come close. Just the thought makes me happy.
