Your intellect guess i believe just might be true. I personally have heard certain similarities in both being a christian and believing the true word of God.If you read the story of Noah after that time descendants of Noah's departed to different parts of the region, knowing that noah was entirely obedeiant to God, im sure without a doubt he pass that down to the generations and im sure in process of time evil deceive those and of coarse man do what they know best and put there idealology and confuse meaning of the true loving God creator of heaven and earth..

I believe that God is just a title. The Supreme Creator is known by many names to many different people. As for your question.....could be....
Remember when the Bible was actually started was years after the death & resurrection of Jesus, which I think coincides with the happenings of Mohammed. The writers of the Bible and the Quran (sp?) both sides had issues and agendas and persecutors, etc. ! Writers on both sides also had a political ax to grind as well. The teachings of Jesus and Mohammed are so close if you examine them and take time to look for the similarities instead of the differences it will blow your mind! They both taught: Love, tolerance, acceptance, compassion, not to harm non-combatants including soldiers who have surrendered, and if a 'witness' of either (generally speaking) were to knock on the door of a home and be told that they don't want to hear it, that they (the witness) dust off their shoes and go on down to the next one. It has been told in both books that alot of times those that said , "No!" at first.....often came looking with "Yes!" in their eyes and hearts.
Unfortunately, both Jesus and Mohammed have had some really crappy PR work done in their names! Neither wanted conversion at the point of a sword or the threat of loss of home, food, etc.. Sorry, got carried away there!

Where have you been? Jehovah, God and Allah are the same.
Most people know that, it's just that they don't want to admit it.
The prophets of the Old Testament and the Torah are the prophets referred to in the New Testament and the Koran.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all monotheistic religions and there is no God but God - in whichever language you want to say that.

You are correct, of course people don't know it, Allah is God, call him whatever you like they all have the same God, Jews Christians Muslims , it is very easy , strange that religious folk don't understand that.
The biggest complication are the prophets esp' the Christian one who the Christians say is God.
But most people don't ever look at any other religion and I've found that most people don't even understand their own religion, just check it out for your self ask a Christian what he/she must believe to be a Christian, I would hazard a guess and say 80% don't have a clue, and although most Muslims can recite the whole of the Koran do you think they really know what it is all about? At least the Jews know what their religion is all about, they don't change it every five minutes.
In case you are wondering I'm atheist I believe in no God, it follows that I also believe in no religion that worships God!

If a person has faith in God the names make little difference.
If a person truly believes in the creator then one comes to the understanding that only God exists. There can be only one God (The creator, nourisher and sustainor of all life). This is meant for those who actually believe in a power greater than themselves. The power within is a refection of that one we call
God! Here is the key: Believe in God, don't pretend to believe in God...it's the pretending that gets us all in trouble!

The mohammedan concept of God is different from the christian concept.
(Indeed the christian concept of God is extended from the Jewish.)
Whether the real God listens to prayers of mohameddans I wouldn't be able to affirm - probably some, but I think they are not forgiven as they reject God's atonement sacrifice in believing Mohammed's teachings, and that greatly inhibits God's ability to reply. They may trust in the 5 pillars and good works, but the gospel indicates you can't get into God's presence that way.
My prayers only got to God when I was forgiven after believing on Christ.

Yes they are the same. Different languages say God differently.
But, do not forget, their were Christian Arabs long before there was an English Language, and long before the word "God" was created.

check out B'haism. Sounds like your cup of tea. They believe all prophets like Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed for example are all sent from a single God to send the message of God to people in different forms more suited for different societies
