First off congratulations on a baby! Breastfeeding helps you lose weight. You can burn 600 calories in an hour of breastfeeding. But, your first priority should be to make sure your baby is healthy. By breastfeeding you are already helping your baby have a healthy life, but you should watch what you eat and make sure you don't exercise too much. Make sure to eat healthy and you'll lose the weight i promise. Going for walks with baby is a very good way to get back in shape and spend time with your new child.

I hope this helped!!!

Your relatives know, some lost weight & some gained weight. Usually, you tend lose weight. I wouldn't put myself on a diet, if your breast feeding you child needs all the nutrients it can get to make it healthy & strong. Remember it took you nine months to gain the weight, be gentle on yourself & your baby. As long as you eat healthy organic when you can, avoid anything white (sugar, rice or starch as well as greasy), you could also start an exercise program (take your child out for walks). I certainly wouldn't put any chemicals in your body, your child will be on a diet too, & you could harm your child as well. Remember to stay hydrated & drink lots of water.

first you gain a little, until you feed the little one. then you lose a little after feeding. this occurs every 3-4 hours. you will gain 3-6 ounces before feeding, then after feeding you will lose 2-5 ounces. this happens every day, gain, lose, gain, lose. when you are done breastfeeding, your weight will stabilize.

You loose because you burn a lot of calories.I'm a junior in highschool and we had to watch a movie on babies and my teacher said women who breast feed loose weight faster than someone who doesnt because of the calories lost everytime you feed your baby. You get heavier because of the milk that is being produced, but you just burn it off. I would ask your doctor about the diet pill because whatever you eat/ drink, they baby eats/drinks type thing. Congrats on the baby(=

you will lose the baby weight faster. your baby will need, and use allot of the "fat" stored from the pregnancy. YOU will notice your body changing almost daily. your "mommy" parts will get back into shape. remember to drink plenty of water, and try to stay away from greasy, gassy foods...pizza, broccli, as you will feed that stuff to the baby, and it will make him/her uncomfortable for a while. just eat overall, healthy stuff. changing your diet to help the baby will get you into a better, healthier routine....
good luck!
