to me this song mean so much for those who have accpeted Christ as their personal mediator between God and man.. no body has to die lost and hopeless and go to a devil hell threw God wonderful free gift of grace. what song says it better? i think no song can beat amazing grace. but the things of God are foolishness to the unbeliver and all the atheists and infidels.. inever stated the latter sentence with any intention of hurt or offence to those that have a God given right to believe what they may... whosoever will let him believe or not believe, its as simple as that...

That's a great one all right! Another great one that to me really symbolizes God's awesome grace and love is "The Old Rugged Cross."

Isn't it wonderful how many different songs and voices we have, to sing praise and worship to the Lord?

Actually, I think that the Ave Maria is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. While I am not Christian, it speaks with such love and reverance and is just so enchanting. It is truly a beautiful piece of music.

yes it is a lovely song, but its a shame its so linked to brain washing religion. I think the biggest evil in the world is religion. it is for weak people.

yeah, A Grazing Mace!
A grazing mace, how sweet the sound, that felled my foe for me
I bashed his head, he struck the ground, and thus came victory

My mace has taught my foes to fear, that mace my fear relieved
How precious did my mace appear, when I my mace received

Through many tourneys wars and fairs, I have already come
My mace has brought me safe thus far, my mace will bring me home

The King has promised good to me, his word my hope secures
I will his shield and weapon be, when he gives me my spurs

And when my mace my foeman nails, that mortal strife shall cease
And we'll possess within our pale, a life of joy and peace

A grazing mace, how sweet the sound that flattened a wretch like thee!
Whose head is flat, that once was round; done in by my mace....and me!

A grazing mace, how sweet the sound that smites a foe like thee
You're left there lying on the ground, you've left the field to me!

Best? I don't know, who is judging?
Best loved? I would say most probably, even the hardest of hearts have teared up at hearing it.
It gives me goose bumps, I love it!
