There is no such thing as an evolutionist. There are scientists, atheists, pagans, Christians, Muslims, Jews and many others of all faiths that understand evolution. There are good Christian/Muslim/Jewish/Buddhist/Hindu/Pagan folk who just try to be good people and leave the rest of us in peace. There are also fundamentalists nut jobs in each and every religion. They kill, force others to believe, try to pass legislation etc.
Evolution, abiogenesis, and Big Bang are separate things and while all science life are connected, they are not to be lumped together. Can we just continue our morning/afternoon working off the same definitions? I think I may have already lost my mind trying to explain the fact that there is no such thing as an evolutionist.

Interesting! Do you presently realize (if you are a Christian presently) that the 'definition' of old testament is one of the things dividing Christianity? As in old testament (Genesis-Malachi) or old testament (law of Moses)?
To God's glory may you receive a large pleasant reward there today!

Actually, there is such a word as Evolutionist but is used completely out of context in the evolution/creation "debate".

An evolutionist would be a proponent of social evolutionism which is probably not a good thing to advertise about one's self.

I dont care what the secular world regards evolution as..We have more important matters to do with fulfilling the Great Commission in Christ............Secularism is the spirit of this world & it will always conflict with the Lords Spirit & His will. Our culture unfortunately has given in to this dominant spirit. We have to continue to encourage each other in love & warning those who need to hear of Christs offer & gift of salvation......We must remain "established and firm" in His truth. ..................The biblical view of creation is not in conflict with science; rather, it is in conflict with any worldview that starts without a Creator. God created the universe because He loves us..............In Christ <>< <><
