Take Christianity for example, how does a Christian justify Muslims, Hindu's, Buddhists, Animists, etc. Are they doomed to go to hell? What about all those with no possible connection to said religion, say Africa for example (tribes not Islam Africa), they've all done good, are they doomed to go to hell for not following said religon, ex. Christianity (I say Christianity because I assume the predominate of viewers will be of that religion).

And in doing so you are basically saying their religion is wrong/fake/phony, and they are saying the same to you. Though your God may be the same, his word, the word, everything else isn't.

How do you justify this? I am curious from an innocent aspect.

I also believe it is important to learn about other religions, I myself have read all sorts of religious scripture from loads of different religions. But I was just at church and I kept getting the feeling the church was saying that only one religion was right, and it got me thinking, but then...it doesn't make much sense.

That's one of the problems with following a religious superstition. Any religion can use the same arguments against any other religion, since none of them are really based on anything real. They all just have their own emotional appeals and threats. That's why they all discourage each other from really listening to what the other religion is saying, except for the Bahai's who like to pretend that there aren't really any differences, the ultimate rationalizers.

You know I just think all religions totally contradict each other...But thats something we cant focus on. Ok personally, Im Muslim. I know my faith goes against the beliefs of some other religions. But thats doesnt phase me. I believe in the teachings of Islam, that is what I was raised to believe in, and still do. I dont focus on what Christians, Jews etc etc believe in, just in what I do...Thats why I live my life without any doubts when it comes to my religion. If only we all learned to not seperate ourselves into categories based on our religion and stop degrading other peoples beliefs just because they differ from yours.

I am Christian but I do not believe any religion is wrong unless it praises suicide and murder. I believe that if there was only one "right" religion then there would be only one religion. God wouldn't allow there to be so many variations out there. I love all people equally and respectfully and I believe everyone is worthy of forgiveness and NO ONE has a right to judge another human being regardless of their beliefs. Even those who praise suicide and murder have a soul will be judged but it won't be by me.

from the religious point of view, the religion, which brings happiness to the people, is the righteous one because all religions are found based on some basic moral codes. The heresy is the one which used religious belief to serve for selfish purposes!
