Control how much you drink! Talk to a trusted friend about the things you don't like about yourself, and then have them remind you of your talk when they see you starting to do something they know you'll regret the next day. Believe me, it works.

Instant gratification is not a healthy choice...been there, done that...It will seem "cool" in the short run and bite you in the rear in the long run...Do you really think you will see those guys last night ever again?...I am sensing that you may have low self-esteem, ie. you don't care about yourself much...I hope you didn't give them your number...They would probably claim to be your pals, and then try to get "lucky" if you catch my drift...And overdoing the alcohol makes you feel good temporarily, but then often you feel worse physically (hangover), and emotionally(lonely, isolated)

One definition of an alcoholic is, "A person who keeps doing the same things over and over again, always hoping for different results." Go to AA!

YOU can stop. No one else can stop you, without locking you up.

The reason you don't stop is because you don't want to. You are saying you do because you think someone wants you to stop. No one cares but you. If you want to go on ruining your life, you will. You say, just once won't hurt. It does. In order to stop you have to say, zero. Just don't start.

For example, when I quit smoking, I just threw my pack away and quit. I never smoked just one. I went to zero and stayed there. That was over twenty-five years ago.

It's something called will power. I WILL stop, NOW.

change your point of view of yourself.
how do you value yourself? what are you worth? make a list of good things about you. NOT physical things, im referring to spiritual and emotional things.
your worth is not based on the physical. it's how you think and act.
people make mistakes. get over it. stop blaming your past.
you deserve better. right? view yourself in a different manner and know your worth.

Your question also correlates to my other question. Read it and answer if you like :)
