YES. Its because they are not mature and feel like they must lie in order to protect your feelings and to protect theirs. Guys lie because they think it will get them out of anything. When actually it gets them in more trouble. Honesty is the best way, always, no matter what the issue is

guy's only lie when there hiding something or they whant to go some were or they bought you something and don't want you to find out what it is (this is ushually not the case) or maybe there old (budy) is in town and there afraid that you'll accuse them of something or basically anything. If he's paying attention to you he's most likely lieing.

Why do guys lie? This is all just tit for tat stuff you women ask.
Before I answer .....Have you ever lied to a guy before?.....have you lied before?.....now that you have answered in your own mind and have pondered your whole life wondering if you have lied......the answer is just as plain as the nose on your face....yes. do they lie alot?.....it varies with each guy. Some have a concious and some live off their lies.
There is only one way to deal with a liar that your dating( not married to) but dating.....catch him in the lie. If he does it habitually....stay single for awhile. You'll get yourself into trouble with someone like that.

Most of them, as well as most girls. Lying is an accepted way of life in the modern world. It's wrong, but it's done anyhow.
Most people nowadays believe they can live a sinful life and repent on their death bed. That only works in the movies.
