they are protective because they love you and it's their job to take care of you the best way they know how. You won't believe me but when you have kids you'll be the same way!!

asking about your day and what you did is NOT being over protective.. It's being a caring parent who loves their child. Being 14 going on 15 has nothing to do with it, they will care about you and ask about your day until they day they pass away and then you will be doing the same to your children as you simply care about them.. It's called Family and there is no one who cares more then your own family. I'll never understand why kids think parents who care are over protective..

it's exactly because you're 14 going on 15. trust me parents do that stuff. you guys all seem to think you know everything there is to know and when you get older you realise why your parents did that kind of stuff. it seems to make sense. you have a break now. just wait till your older then you'll know how good you've got it. they ask because they care. just humour them by answering. it will make life easier too

give me a break ! they aren't being overprotective. they are interested in your life. at your age, it's very easy for you and your parents to become distant. teens go from the kid who came to mom and dad for everything to a very private individual who thinks their parents are being nosey.be grateful your parents wish to stay involved and are concerned for your well being. is it so hard to sit at the table after school and tell them how your day was? in our society today, parents must be in their kids lives to make sure all is well. give them a break. they love you and want to know you. sit down for a couple minutes after school with them. have a soda and tell them about your teachers, classes, the nasty girl starting rumors, whatever. keep the comunication open and you'll see them relax a bit.

i assume some dad and mom quite ask your self whether the eclipse will consequence their toddler... in a life-style like ours, experts say in case you do no longer consume strictly organic and organic nutrition you have a unfavorable consequence on your well-being, i think of it quite is bull crap myself, yet some human beings would desire to certainly think of that. Its good to take heed to that oldsters are certainly in contact nevertheless, isn't it?

my son is 16 and in college. Every day he comes back from college, he tells me, my wife and his sister every thing that he thinks we should know. I and my wife dont ask him. Even though I am really not interested in what he has to say I listen because it is essential for children to say what happened to them in school, college and talk to parents openly. It is not over protectiveness. Dont you tell your friend what happened during the day??? I trust my son and dont ask him unwanted questions not check his mobile.

It's good to hear that you have loving parents who care about you & want to communicate with you.
You'll understand when you have kids of your own.

...because they care and are interested in YOU....

if they didn't acknowledge you anymore or ask how you are, you'd REALLY wonder!

just tell them about your day -- and perhaps ask them about theirs?

there is nothing like communication, even if it does seem boring.
