To call ones self an atheist is a condundrum. Atheists say they don't believe in god, yet the very term atheist implies a lack of belief in something that they acknowledge by the very act of being "atheist". I like to think that "atheists" don't believe in a traditional god. The GOD on the throne. However, all the atheists I've ever met do acknowledge a belief in a higher power, a creator. They just don't call it god.

Interesting question. I think the definition of atheism is somebody who doesn't *believe* in a theistic god. Personally, I practice a flavor of atheism that is consonant with that definition. I don't *believe* in a theistic god. If there IS a theistic god, however, he knows who I am and where I live. If he's really a personal god I'd imagine he'd do something to get in touch personally - face to face, communicating directly. If that god exists and decides that its only communication with me will be a lightning bolt that strikes me as I post this answer then, well, that god is really indistinguishable from Fortuna, another god I don't believe in (but which has a pretty solid definition).

I just don't see the point in believing in random products of peoples' imaginations.

Good luck.

I am an atheist. I do not believe in any god(s).

I do not believe because there is no evidence to support that belief. Some christians believe because they assume god exists. They make that assumption because they have no proof or evidence that god exists. I do not make that assumption.

Some christians want atheists to disprove their god, without realizing that nobody needs to disprove something that has not been proven in the first place.

Atheists do not believe in God. But of course, they are uncertain if he exists or not. They are just guessing. To put this answer in a simple form. "Atheists assume there is no God" They cannot disprove the religious claims.

Do you know what atheist means? A- is a prefix meaning without or in the absence of. Theus is a greek word for god. Thus atheist-without god. Please slap your language teachers.

No.
Religions are all made up.

Ever wonder why your god is invisible ?
Why the bible is non-sense ?
Why there is absolutely no proof of a god existing ?

That's what an atheist is, someone who doesn't believe in any gods.

Atheism is the belief that there is no God, so your question is rather silly.
