Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

I like what King De Puttenham and Jan said.

The time for Christ's coming is very near. I think I'm ready, but I get worried about it sometimes.

Just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be.” (Matthew 24:37) With these words, Jesus indicated that the time of his invisible presence would be similar to the days of Noah, and that has truly been so. Particularly since 1919, a warning message similar to the one given by Noah has been declared to people of all nations. In general, their reaction has been similar to that of people in Noah’s days.

Noah’s contemporaries failed to appreciate that Noah had divine backing and was acting at God’s direction. So they did not take his preaching seriously and act on his warning message. What about today? Although many are impressed by the work and conduct of Jehovah’s Witnesses, most do not take the good news and the Bible’s warnings seriously. Neighbors, employers, or relatives may speak highly of the fine qualities of true Christians but then lament, “If only they were not Jehovah’s Witnesses!” What these observers overlook is that the Witnesses manifest such qualities as love, peace, kindness, goodness, mildness, and self-control because they are led by God’s holy spirit. (Galatians 5:22-25) This should add credibility to their message.

In Russia, for instance, Jehovah’s Witnesses were building a Kingdom Hall. A man who stopped to talk to one of the workers remarked: “What a strange construction site—no smoking, no rough speech, and everyone is sober! Are you by any chance one of Jehovah’s Witnesses?” The worker asked him, “If I said no, would you believe me?” The man quickly replied, “Not really.” In another Russian city, the mayor was greatly impressed when he saw the Witnesses build their new Kingdom Hall. He said that although he had once viewed all religious groups as being the same, after seeing the sincere unselfishness of Jehovah’s Witnesses in action, he no longer did so. These are just two examples showing that Jehovah’s people differ from those who do not adhere to Bible standards.

We are ready!

See your first answer? People believe this writing couldn't be true, because God said he wouldn't cause another flood - but what they don't understand is that the flood of the end times is a flood of lies. The Ark of the end times is Christ.
They also don't realize that at the time of Noah, it was the Angels that they were giving in marriage to -
Angels will return with Satan, and this is why it is written that woman should have a covering on their head - its not a hat or hair, its Christ, because of those Angels that will seduce women just like they did in Noahs
time.
I'm afraid that Biblical illiteracy is at an all-time high, and so again I say,
the stage is set, and the harvest is ripe....

So far every day of my life as death can come before Jesus second coming, which ends the seven heads and the 10 horns of this old worlds Empires history, as the world Satan is in, and this will not be over to make way for Christ in my life time, but it will be over in the near future, all prophecy is based on it and we live it every day or know it existed from Moses to Daniel and past Ezra. it is in end times at the time from Satan and 1/3 angels cast down, Rev.12:1-12; to the reign of Christ [ a different HISTORY COMES ]. Rev.20:1-6,12,13; is where we are and the time is over the half mark.

Everyone has sinned, I too have do things I am not proud of, and I still need to Repent and ask forgivness of the people I have wronged but I am almost ready. I intend to apologize tomorrow. For the Kingdom of Heaven may not be easy to get to but it will be worth it, even hurting your pride will be worth it. There may not be another flood, but Chirst will come in the Second Coming.

Yes, and that is certainly how it is today! ASo many are busy in the everyday affairs of living, that they take no noticeof the times we are living in!

2 Timothy 3:1-5: "(2 Timothy 3:1-5) “. . .But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.. . .”

This is so accurate of the times we live in, also
Matthew 24: 3-14 gives another view of the current world system of things...
"While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
4 And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.
9 “Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."

It's like that today. No one seems to know right and wrong anymore and they don't seem to see what their way of living is doing to the world. They worry about saving the environment and earth which is going to be destroyed anyway. The world is fool of people with college degrees who lack true wisdom.

Too me, it is obvious that your question does not ask if we are ready for another deluge, but are we ready to answer for all we have done in our lives.

ARE WE READY FOR THE RETURN OF THE MESSIAH.

I am, and I wish everybody were. But, alas, many have turned their hearts to stone and refuse to hear the good story of Salvation.

" two men will be walking up a hill, one man's gone, the other standing still, I wish we'd all been ready"
