Uhm, because behaviour isn't dictated based on belief. It's based on culture mostly.

Look, Charlie. Instead of trying to fight people, why don't you just chill out. You don't have to be a Christian, okay, do what ever the hell you want. If you ask for advice, people will tell you to be a decent person. As long as you don't get adopted by the Manson family, or want to do anything along those lines. Is it really that hard for you to get through each day? Where are you that you are constantly hounded by religion? There are Jews that live in Italy, and they're doing just fine even though the country is run by Catholic rules. Maybe you need to move to Montana or someplace you can be alone for a while. Damn.

Real christians, i've met them and they were just one of the greatest people ever. I've also met great atheists and muslims too. so our behavior is pretty much the same. i am christian because it helps me become a better person.

You are not talking of real christians but of fake one...
these persons may be knowing a lot of the bible and christianity but they do not really grab and take conscience of the message of jesus whose goal is to free every man from sin and suffering(salvation)...... for them being christian is just having an identity....but religion is a way of living not a piece of identity....
