My ex and I live in a gated community, and my neighborhood is kinda far from his. He hasn't came by my house since November, which was when we broke up. He IM'ed me last night on aim, and said,"Hey, can I come by your house, I almost did today to say hi." I told him no, because it was 9:00 at night, and my parents were asleep so he shouldn't come down that late. We used to fight and not get along, but now we are friends again. Might I add, its always on and off, but this time, he seems to really want to work things out and try to be friends. Anyways, what do you think this could mean?

Now of course you are not dumb enough to do that, are you?
There was a reason why you two broke up and if you haven't got that sorted out, it's going to end in tears again. Mostly it does when you get back together with your ex-

You should of been friends in the beginning of your relationship so long ago, then you wouldn't be trying to figure out all these mixed signals. If you two were intimate then he might be trying to come around for a late night booty call. So be careful, you did the right thing by telling him not to come over. Talking, would be your next step. Keep it simple and platonic.

It's time you got out to meet someone you're compatible with. It's easy to be friends with an ex but is it going to be that different if you get back together and in any case a new partner might feel jealous or excluded if your ex is still around.

Well anymore you have to be careful in society because people will set you up to hurt you or he might also possibly really want to talk things out, if he wants to say "Hi" let him do it with others around or in a public place you never know what someone might have up their sleve!

I think that you should talk to him, cuz if you get in a relationship again you might start fighting again. That is bad. So if you think he is better why not be in a relationship, but if not just stay friends.

i think it could mean that he's desparate for company, so he's coming back to you because it's "comfortable" OR it could me he is really interested in getting back together -- but perhaps he wants to be friends.
the next time you talk with him, you could ask him what his intentions are right now... i think he can give you the best answer.
please don't be afraid to talk with others and ask them what it is they are thinking -- communication is key to learning what others are thinking.

well i think he wants u to give him another chance but be careful plz if u invite him over make sure ur not alone b/c u never know he could try to hurt u and i dont want that to happen
