Is "Gallardo" English? How about "Mucielago"? How about "Enzo"?

You know what they call VW Jettas in Europe? They are called Boras. In fact, they are called Boras everywhere else in the world except two places: North America (and probably Mexico) and China.

They don't. Why do they use the Roman alphabet, is what you mean. They use the Roman alphabet because so many countries do. Car manufacturers want their cars to be identifiable wherever they are sold. If Japanese cars were never sold outside Japan, there would not be any reason to use anything but Japanese characters on the cars.
