i find that your cook shows are good but who in the right mind cooks and get in to mixing food with there rings on and eating over the food there is some many bactirias and then eatingover the food letting it drop out of there mouths and back into the bowl then letting the bird eat out of the bowl

Oh, I've noticed it. It's only recently that they've made a concerted effort to show the hosts actually washing their hands. I always take my rings off when mixing meat or anything where something could get under the settings. I can easily spot every day any number of food safety mishaps. Maybe I'm a dork, but I took my food safety class and I learned from it.

These are definitely not formal cooking shows. I think more people (though won't admit to it) cook like this themselves. I know who you're talking about regarding the rings. She always forgets! A properly trained chef will never do those things in the kitchen. Though I did see one italian show (chef who wears orange clogs) where he coughed directly in his hand and continued to chop his food without washing his hands. After seeing that, I decided I would never eat at one of his restaurants if I were in NY.
