We believe that we will go to a place to atone for our sins, and after that, yes we will go to Gan Eden, "Paradise" but it's not the Xtian idea of heaven. It's existence closer to G-d, not necessarily a physical place.

To the deli for a corned beef sanwich and a kosher pickle.
Of course they believe they're going to heaven. They have endured suffering for generations upon generations, and like it or not, they are God's chosen people. They have a one way ticket to heaven.
