I want to lose 20-25 pounds in 3 months. Is it possible?? I currently weigh 140. How many miles do you recommend for me a day to reach my goal??

you will lose weight all over and will do your butt and lower abs

My dad runs 2 26 mile marathons a year and a bunch of 13 mile marathons. he was in kind of bad shape but now that he runs not only are his legs in shape but also his whole body. it may depend on how much you run but it should get you in shape all over. abs, legs, butt [arms if you run with arm weights].

1-3 miles a day will be good.
and if you cut down your calories it wont even take you 3 months to lose 20-25 cals.

Running works out your entire body, but to get to the crux of your question yes it will tighten those areas
