do you buy softwares there or you perfer to crack them instead of buying them? is yes why? if not why? do you think it's worth to buy softwares legally and in some cases pay such a high price while you can have the whole software with all of its capabilities by using a simple patch or crack hah?

I personally prefer to buy games, I just dont buy new ones.
I wait till I can buy them for like 10 bucks or less.
This way I first off save a bunch of money on the computer as I dont need the latest hardware which also pays off as it takes quite a while till there is software that makes use of all the hardware features.
I also get to run the games at maximum eye candy, have full support and online access (you cant play most cracks online)
Also most of the newly released games are over priced and are full of bugs.
So just being patient and waiting some pays off, saves money and trouble and doubles the fun.

For trying out games I would prefer to run a cracked copy rather than trying a demo version of the game because the demo versions have too many limitations.

I use a lot of open source software, you should check it out. You may find that STEALING is not needed.

So when you need to go somewhere do you just take your neighbors car or do you get your own. After all it just takes a few seconds to pick the lock now doesn't it.

I just don't get why everyone seems to think that theft is acceptable. (cracks are just that, stolen keys)

Guess we as a society have some growing to do with the morality of how we view computer code. If the "price" of the software seems high its because users are willing to pay that price. If they didn't, the price wouldn't be that high.

Then of course the manufacturers raise the price to cover the expense of the illegal use and thus create more illegal use and find that users are still willing to pay the price.

If you like the software - buy it - if you don't like the price DON'T buy it and don't use it either and encourage all others to not use it. Prices will come down and we all win.

Most the software I use is free. I have bought a few language programs. But, even those I can search and find some simple free stuff.
Now, I use Ubuntu Linux and everything so far has been free.
I was browsing for Windows Programs; http://www.cnet.com
once and they had some reviews of on-line role games similar to "WOW" and they free too.
I think most of the programs a person would need to buy are Business Applications, but, Open Office is free and do what I need for home use. A friend of mine has a Band and they bought some real nice software to Record with. But, to them it was well worth the money to get what they wanted, Support to go with it and a good quality product.
