I think that is a rather large gap. However that doesn't mean you are doomed.
From personal experience I have found that an age gap like that can cause a few issues, but it depends on the people weather or not it creates a problem.
First since you two are from 2 different generations, you grew up during different times. There could be an issue with different taste in music, styles, speech, and views. Which can make him feel that you are immature or don't understand where he is coming from. It can lead you to feel like he treats you like a child and lives in the past.
Second you two are at different places in life. Since people continue to grow mentally throughout life this issue could get worse at different times.
Really if you are just dating it should be OK. However if it ever turns into a long term thing that is when you two should seriously consider your differences and if you can both live with them.

see age is not a problem if you're actually in love but if it's just a fling then age is the only thing you'll worry about
problems donot come on their own we create them for ourselves
if u both think u can spend ur lives together then to hell with the society & people , it's your life, do what you think is right
the only problem i see is that maybe u both dont have the same level of thinking becoz the other person is 33 which means much more experienced than u in every field

well it depends on the maturity of a person.11 years i dont think it is such a big age difference.

no i dont think 11 years is too much --- (im biased my lady is a lot more than 11 years younger than me) ---- its how you feel for each other and if you are prepared to work on any problems (like any other relationship)
