Another reason is for when the stay at home parent has to go to the doctor and can't take the child. If the other parent can not get off work then you have no choice. Military doctors won't allow children at certain doctors appointments so sometimes the parent sends them to child care.

Because many parents work outside home so they have send their children there to be raised by strangers which pretty much causes the children to not have any morals or values.

not busy parents...working parents. I can't take my kids to work so I have to take them to day care. I'm a single adoptive mother. I take them everywhere else. also preschools are good to teach a child socialization skills and get them ready to enter school.

So that working parents or parents who attend school, will have somewhere to take their children and know that they will be look after while they are gone.

Because you cant leave children under 5 home alone while you are at work/school and they are not old enough to go to school!

that is pretty much the only reason...... parents have to keep on working after they have a baby so they have to take them to a daycare center.......
