no one should make fun of you , you can lose whight it's easy in your age but still hard , you have to control what you eat and put in your mind that if you controled what you eat for 3 months you can lose whight and your life will change only 3 months, less eating and exerciese, if you think of it, it's only a matter of days, 90 days, can you control yourself? to achieve your goal? start walking 15 minutes first then you increase it till you reach 1 hour a day, go swiming , play any game you want to, and put in your mind healthy food only... there are lots of healthy food you can enjoy, eat to live not live to eat, at the end all what you eat goes away and you will want to eat again and you will forget what you ate half an hour ago and then you will search for another thing to fill your emotions, ask your self why do you eat ?all the time, when you know the answer it will be easy for you to control your hunger.you are too young to be on medications for anxiety? do you have problems ? can I help you? you can e-mail me, I have a daughter in your age as well? if you need a friend or advise don't hesitate ,what ever you think of, you can send me and we can solve it out...good luck and don't let any problem drive you to other one , concentrate on your health dear you are still young and you should have a long healthy happy life ,work on it and don't let anyone or anything let you down..god bless you.

Good for you! You want to do it the right way!

However, there is no "quick" way to lose weight. It takes time, dedication, and hard work.

First, I would suggest going to your doctor to make sure you can exercise. Then, if you get the green light, you can get started.

Here are some of my tips for weight loss:

LOTS of water. Drink water as often as you can.

Start exercising by walking a couple of blocks a day. Then, increase how long you are walking.

Go to target and get some cheap dumbbells. (1, 2, 5 pounds.)
Use them to tone your arm muscles.

You'll also need a good mat to do sit ups and side crunches. Maybe even a yoga video if you are feeling ambitious.

Now this is very important, you need a healthy diet. Cut all the junk, processed food, soda, and frozen dinners. Try to cut as much sugar as you can. If you need something sweet, try Ice Breakers Sours. They're sugar-free.

Increase you intake of fresh fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Go to your local health food store and have your parents buy you some healthy alternative snack food. There are tons of stuff that is good for you and tastes great too.

Good luck, I know how hard it is to be overweight, especially when you are young.

Just know that you CAN DO IT! And if you do it the right way, it'll be the best feeling of accomplishment you've ever had. Always take care of yourself, because the people around you will not always be supportive of you losing weight.

Feel free to e-mail me if you need support or have questions. Isisrocca82 at Yahoo . com

Good luck! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Walking is the best form of exercise. Just start out at a short distance what ever makes you comfortable and walk until you can get to walking greater distances. It doesn't matter what other people think of you, your Father in heaven loves you no matter what so always keep that in mind when people mock you or make fun of you, some day they may very well regret it. So cheer up and get out there and walk and remember to not eat junk food like sweets after you walk, ice cream is the worst try to stay completely away from foods with high fat content and stop eating about 3 hours before you go to bed, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, things that are healthy for you. Get to walking in places that make you happy like woodland trails, parks etc before you know it those pounds will be coming off and you'll feel wonderful. Remember also to consult with a health care physician who may give you some extra advice on helping you to loose weight. And remember this most of all " You Never Fail Until You Stop Trying" Write that down in big letters where you can see it. Best of luck to you...

Being overweight most likely runs in your family if you've been big since preschool, or your family constantly fed you with unhealthy or fast food. Is the rest of your family overweight, too?

You didn't include your height, so I can't give you a good number for calorie intake to lose weight. Let's go with, about 2000 calories a day. Be careful with what you eat, and start counting calories. It helps tremendously.

Don't forget to drink tons of water, too. It helps flush out your system and helps you lose even more weight.

Just try walking to places instead of getting rides. Walking can do WONDERS. Do some jumping jacks at home, or jump roping. Try not to allow yourself to sit down, watch TV, and eat because that is what causes you to gain weight.

If you are craving food but aren't hungry, try occupying your time with something else, such as going for a walk, reading a magazine, painting your nails, calling a friend.

Remember, a moment on the lips, forever on the hips!

Good luck!

I too was overweight as a young person. I'm very empathetic. Without knowing your environment or other factors that could hinder you from losing weight, I'll only offer what worked for me--it was a high protein diet conceived by Dr. Irwin Maxwell Stillman in 1968. I was 250 lbs when I started. In the first week, I lost 20 pounds and that gave me the impetus to continue. In 6 months, I was down to 170lbs. and I was never hungry.
Consciously, I new the diet was extreme but it worked and that's what I needed. I'll add a couple of links for you to decide it it's right for you. Good luck sweetie.

Step 1.
Let me tell you something. It is all in your mind. You can do anything.

After you believe Step 1, move onto Step 2.

Step 2. Start a Diet, and stick to it. ( I personally love the Abs Diet). You may say, I hate diets, i'll always be hungry, no! You wont, sounds kind of crazy , but you must eat six small meals everyday. Ur like wut?! Six small meals ? Yes. By doing this, you build your metabolism therefore, causing you to digest and burn calories faster.

Step 3. Workout, about two times a day. Well, fit as much as you can according to your schedule. In the morning do some light jogging, and some running. In the afternoon do some stretching and running also again. More and More you exercise, the more you can start doing as time passes. Maybe some jumping drills or whatever you can do to improve yourself.

Step 4. Stay Motivated and have fun. Listen to music or do something as you workout !!

Step 5. Do it for yourself only !!

Step 6. If you need any more info tell me on Y!A emai and I will for sure email you back.

Thanks for your time.

Whenever you get bored or whenever you have free time take a walk... A woman did this and all the weight shed off in a year. It might be hard at first but it will get easier so don't give up! You also need to eat better, healthier, and less if you want to lose weight.

Good Luck!

First fill up your plate with what seems to be a reasonable amount of nutritious foof and then push yourself away from the table when you have finished.
You have to do two kinds of exercise, weight training and aerobic but you'll have to take it very easy at first, possible get advice from your doctor.
Weight training increases your metabolism so that you are burning some fat even when sitting at ease. Aerobic exercise is good for you but you have to do a lot of walking or running to burn away a donut.
Drink plenty of water.
Read all you can about nutrition and exercise.
Be scared. You are at risk for diabetes, heart problems, etc. Be scared enough to want to save your life. You are precious to yourself and your loved ones.

Swimming is the best activity for you at this point because of the stress that higher impact exercises will have on your joints...walking fast would also be okay.

It's all math my friend....burn off more calories than you take in within a day's time, and you'll lose weight. Take in more than you burn off and you'll gain weight.

Make some good choices now to prevent a lifetime of obesity-related health problems!!

as a Trainer i would suggest you to decreasing the amount of calories intake, this will be difficult to do. You need to eat 5 to 6 times a day very small portion (that's the key), that will help increase your metabolism. Exercise at least three to four times a week 45 min. if you can afford a personal trainer do so it will be a great help.
