Yup. Plate tectonics as well, proof of an older earth. Astronomy, Physics create problems. The images from the Hubble space telescope also create problems as they establish age of the universe as well as the origination point of the big bang, plus they prove that the universe is expanding. That's why ministers in many fundie sects don't want their sheep watching movies or the Discover Channel. Contradicts their dogma with hard facts.

No, they do not. I am Christian, studied in the manuscripts; there is absolutely no controversy between the truth of Gods Word, and true Science.
This earth is eons old, and yes, the Bible declares it. Those who say that the Bible states the earth to be 6000 yrs. old, are Biblically illiterate as a grapefruit.
There are three earth ages, and you can read of them in your regular Bible in Second Peter.
There was an entire earth age before this one, and then the earth stood still for billions of years, before God refurbished it and readied it for flesh habitation. Thats what you read in Genesis 1; not the first creation of the earth, but its rejuvination.
The short answer: no, dinosaurs do not contradict christianity, and neither does any other natural occurance of the earth contradict the Word of God. Its just that those with the biggest mouths are also the most unlearned in the Word and plan of God. I believe they call themselves "creationists", but forgive me if I am wrong in that term.

No. The dinosaurs were destroyed before the creation of Adam and Eve. Gen 1:2 in the Hebrew speaks of the earth which has undergone destruction.

They sure do. A couple of things:
1. Literal interpretation of the bible (Adam and Eve, etc) would have dinosaurs being "created" a day or two ahead of Adam and Eve instead of the millions of years that we know to be true.
2. Noah's Ark. The bible said Noah brought two of every kind on the boat. SO he had 2 of every kind of DINO? Well, thats silly. So then Dinos must have "died out" in the few generations between creation and Noah. All those millions of dinos, created "perfect" by a perfect god, dying out in THAT space of time?

I've been trying to tell you, THERE WERE NO DINOSAURS! Satan planted the bones in the ground to mislead humans into thinking the earth was millions of years old in order to turn us away from God. Quit letting Satan win, throw away your Science books, the Bible is all you need to read!

They contradict the bible.
Christianity as a religion is ever changing.
There are always new things they have to accept, because the evidents gets too overwhelming.
Like the world being round.
Some fundies used to say that dino bones were a hoax, isn't that hilarious ?
