probably, since the show has taken ordinary people and has given them a chance, at becoming stars, great singers, even playing on Broadway hits. What other show out there can do that? True they keep the jokes a little longer than they should, so that the real contestant could have a chance.

Ah i like the way you put this in the joke section.haha.i agree with you 100%.any of them programs are ridiculous.such hype over them and for what 5 mins of fame.thing is some people on them shows do have talent(i say some) and then they are expected to act as puppets to do what will bring in the bucks for the puppet master.do these people really have their interests at heart?only to the point that their interests come first i think

I am sure there are lots out there that would agree with you, sadly, programmes like this offer so much entertainment to many that those who find them distateful just need to reach for the remote control and turn over, or switch off, it is ever so each, doesn't take much practise, anyone can master it........go on give it a try.

Even though they ARE really talented, when they have become a name from that TV shpw, NOONE in the music industry shows them any respect

Its a very successful huge pile of poop though. like all awful programmes such as Eastenders they will continue to churn it out if there are enough morons watching!!

I think some of the seasons have been especially this one..I have really lost interest in the show.
