I don't agree at all. I also say this about the death sentence, it is not necessary. If someone tries to look up your skirt or something they might have a problem or are traumatized. God knows that doesn't make it right but when caught the police and court decide a punishment. Personally I think that the Policemen, Judges, etc. should become more creative; when someone go to jail most are not affected, or when some else gets electrocuted they are not fazed at all. They know what they have done, and under circumstances they did it or couldn't help them selves. I think people should be more aware of their surroundings especially when around smaller children. I think that if no one put their hands on anyone we would be saved from a lot of crimes and tax payers' money. This point of the matter is why do you want them beaten? After they are yes they feel something and are punish but the victim (normally) probably wasn't beaten? Then what what would you do with the man/woman? This is a way of life we deal with today and it is not innocent peoples fault that there are crazy people out there. But God has chosen this lifestyle for a reason and we will have to deal with it until he calls us home one day. And further more if/and or when the person got out they would hold a grudge and forevermore seek out those people or do something else to someone. Then kill themselves as to not go to jail.

The whole problem with that is the rich people or people who have someone with money to look out for them would still get away with it. Then there is the whole problem of convicting the innocent. Just how do you think you could possibly figure out who is honestly not guilty? I think this question deserves more than just a yahoo answer but the politicians are almost to voting time again so all the money is being poured into the campaignes and besides that they really do not care....

I like to think that we can move on from this way of thinking, it is not progress to go back to the past in any type of thinking, yet I do wander what we can do . For perverts I would dip them in a bath of luminous green dye, you could see them coming a mile off and if they tried to cover it up you would still now what they were because of the way they dressed. Criminal scum is a different thing, my husband thinks like you, bring back public beatings, heaven forbid.

what happens when you find out you got wrong person? isn't that why we dint have capital punishment ?

if we could be 100% sure we had the rite people still no i dint think we should be beating them at all may be a lethal injection but people are being found Innocent every day after spending time in prison for all sorts. so how can we do any more than lock them away?

and we pay out thousands of pounds to each person who is found to have been wrongly put away/ how can you say to start beating them. what if someone accused you wrongfully of being a nonce or rapist. could you defend your self against that type of mob? naaaa it just cant be dun

Do you really think that beating someone up is gonna make them change their ways.obviously you do.if a criminal gets beaten up he will feel more hostile and far from change his ways he will probably get worse.the reason why hes gone down the road of a criminal is cause he has had problems in his life to deal with and beating him up is gonna make him feel worse.do you really think that'll make him change his ways.you gotta start trying to understand it from their sides.i am not condoning what they do by any means.i want it stopped as much as you but we have to get into their heads to see why they do this stuff.i know from experience that condemning people for stuff like that only makes matters worse for all involved and also beating them up would be a crime alwell.an eye for and eye makes the whole world blind

So what u saying is that when i was 17 and got done for burglary and i deserved a severe beating for this, thanx mate.
I'm now 28, doing real good at work, got a nice girl, a great kid, great house and car, but if some tw*t had beat me when i was younger, i'd have made it my lifes work to devastate to track em down and hurt em bad, then i'd have gone to prison for such violence.
Then again i thoroughly agree with beating perverts, esp. kiddy fiddlers, we should hunt them instead of foxes, great game, hunt the paedo.

how will that stop crime look around the world
example Islamic countries have the death penalty and cut the hands off criminals yet there is still crime.
beating people up wont work cos folk will still think I'll get away with it. all it will do is give a sadistic person a job

I think your previous question sums you up
You are right you do NEED HELP
What makes me laugh most about you is that you have asked a few questions on studying buddism yet most of your questions are about commiting violence towards other people
I think like homophobic people that you belive that if you appear to be completely against these things no one will work out that your true feelings are infact for them

I agree. They need teaching a lesson somehow and sticking them in prison where they get more than they would on the outside is not teaching them a thing. Give em all a good hiding I say!

they do need punishments, but if we beat them we might as well be criminals ourselves. beating people wont solve anything, karma will eventually take its toll on those who really deserve it. for example child molesters, rapists and other people who are a serious threat to our society should not be ignored, but put into jail so they can rot there! however we shouldnt beat the living crap out of them, just put them in a life that is full of misery and darkness, in other words: prison!
