I have this problem too.
I use Noxema Original formula. It has a cool tingly feeling and leaves my face feeling soft. After I use that I use Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Astringent (for sensitive skin). Its got Salicylic Acid (minimizes pores and dries up zits) and other medications.
Steaming your face will open your pores and bring the bacteria to the surface of the skin. I take a washcloth that has been in hot water and let it sit on my face in the shower. Then I take cold water/ice water and put my face in it to close the pores (the cold water minimizes them).
--Hope this helps!!

I have large pores on my chin. I have been using a regime from Arbonne and have noticed they are not as large.
Use a hydrating wash, toner (witch hazel) and then a solid day cream and repeat at night but add a night cream.
Our pores are who we are but the better regime you use with your face you can keep them cleaner - and they may shrink
with a good regime and clean face.
You can also exfoliate twice a week and do a deep pore mask once a week - to help -
Splash your face with cool water too before you add toner.

If the open pores are on your face, treat them to a mild astringent after washing your face.
