Of course they won't. Their ability to put up mental blocks against all reason, logic, and evidence is truly amazing. They are so afraid of facing the world without their little security blanket of fairy tales, that they'll twist and pervert any argument or evidence into conforming to their beliefs.
They are truly frightening people.
Here's the test they use for determining if an argument is valid: If it confirms my beliefs, it is valid. If it contradicts my beleifs, its invalid. They do the same thing with evidence.

'It's understandable that people in Biblical times didn't understand science' And that there is the number one reason the Book outlaws many things. In the OT it tells people not to eat pork or any other animal which meat is prone to sickness (in an age with no refrigeration). It speaks of washing oneself meticulously etc. As I've said before, the word Sin means literally 'uncleanliness'. And because you sin, you die. We are unclean, because we are at the mercy of the laws of nature, we contact diseases. Now back in those times, it was not only a sin to lie with the same sex, but to lie with the opposite sex as well. Only through marriage was sex allowed. This was a way to prevent diseases spreading that people back then didn't understand. They obviously had no protection against STD's, so this was a good way to remain healthy. Today, despite our knowledge of the subject, diseases are off the chart (especially in countries where information is sparse). And God's will is for humans to live healthy lives, thus all the rules. So, I'd say, more awareness is needed about the risks (in men and in women) and not judgement.

It's true that the people of "Biblical" times didn't have the science. But they sure DID have homosexuals. And orgy's and extra marital affairs and rape etc. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that it's just a book. If way back when God himself was walking the earth people still committed all of these sexually charged acts on the regular. I would think they would have been put out of commission then and there. Especially rape. To which the legal system essentially says "tough luck".

RE:
Will Christians admit to this one thing?
that no matter how many arguments we point out. no matter how many flaws we find in your religion, you will never ever admit them. you will make an excuse at all costs because you have to. regardless of how correct we may be, in your mind you have no choice but to find an excuse, bucause owning up...

Part of the 'difference' between Christianity and atheism is Jesus told his followers how to rise above man's (a false god) level. Unfortuneately, many 'Christians' in USA do not obey(apply) that principle; in effect arguing with atheist on the atheist level, even when 'Christians' quote the Bible.
I currently do not know if you are atheist or not; but I can easily understand how many 'Christians turn off many marginal atheist and agnostics.

If it was true then I would admit it because I serve the God of truth. But when someone takes things out of context be it Biblical or historical or cultural and tries to build a case around it then I have to obey the commands of Scripture.
1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; 16 yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

First of all read: Proverbs chapter 30.
We have experienced so many things out there "in your world" and never felt something real that could fill our empty void, We tried drugs, alcohol, pornography, new age, etc. etc.
but when we gave up and tried THIS (accepting Him) we did not do it because of "brainwash" or obligation, we did it because we were convinced that the only way was THIS, it was the only way we changed our living, it wasn't by being egoist and analytical. We don't try by our minds but by our hearts.

This is not true. Jehovah's Witnesses admitted that were wrong about some of our predicitions. We announced it in our literature to the public.

No, I won't admit that. If it ever comes to the point where I believe one of you has a valid argument, which I've not seen even ONE, THEN I'll rethink my beliefs. But I've asked many of the same questions all of you have, and I've found the answers. I haven't always been a Christian. As a matter of fact, I'm a NEW Christian. Prior to that I was agnostic; before that I was Wiccan; prior to that I was agnostic, and prior to that I was atheist.
Even so, my mind is still open to the fact that (other Christians and) I may be wrong. I almost WANT to be proven wrong. It would sure make my life easier.

same reason to why you defend your beliefs right? although i do admit some flaws of the catholic churches and atrocities by the church and the christians who keep preaching but do nothing. but wait. even if you're atheist or muslim or what, you still have flaws right? i may accept your arguments on science but when it comes to God's existence, that I cannot deny.
