My mother and I like to go to this Mexican place in a local food court and have tacos. We make them at home sometimes too. All the salsa's in the supermarkets are thick and have chunks in them and lots of salsa recipes are like it to. At the Mexican shop their salsa is really liquidy and smooth and tastes deliscious. Does anyone have a recipe or a website that tells you how to make a smooth salsa?

1.Smooth Salsa

8 oz can nsa tomato sauce

1/3 cup water

¼ teaspoon nsa chili powder

1 ½ teaspoon cumin

1 ½ teaspoon dry minced onions

1 tablespoon white vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder (the recipe originally called for 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic powder and garlic salt, so I would add to taste with this)

Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and stir well. Simmer at a very low temperature for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove and cool. May be kept in refrigerator for several days.
