What are your thoughts on Jesus Christ?

This isn't asking about whether you think he really existed or not. I have not made up my mind about that one yet.

I'm basically just asking what were or are your thoughts on him, like on his character and on his teaching; stuff like how you should always turn the other cheek, how you should not try to defend yourself when being attacked, and to give unto anyone who asks

Jesus was just a guy who got nailed to a tree for saying "wouldn't it be better if everyone was nice to each other".

In Hebrews 13:8 we are told that Jesus has always been with The Father, in fact Heb.1:5-9 The Father Himself address Jesus as God, and in John 8:58 Jesus address Himself as The I AM and if you've a cross reference it goes back to Moses in Exodus 3 and the burning bush, the deciples must have because all but John, and Judas was slain for there faith and you don't die for a joke. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and Savior,after the fall of Adam and Eve all manner of negative things opened up,hatred,violence, anger etc, and Jesus was not like this Himself as He was never affected by the fall of Mankind, and so only He could show us the way out of all this negativity, hence His teachings and sayings.

Jesus is the Messiah that Israel has been waiting. I think Jesus is great! He created us to chose which way to go, either bad one or good one, he didn't wan't to force people to join Christianty, he let us choose our way.

All these figures from around these times were promoting the same thing in my opinion, Buddha, Muhammed, whoever, their ideas and philosophies seemed to have been basically the same: compassion, mindfulness, giving, etc.

However, when politicians (such as those that were in the Roman Empire) get hold of the publication rights to these religious characters' stories then suddenly things can seem to become a lot more corrupt.

I tried to run away from Jesus many times but I always went back .I love His patience ,His kindness His mercy and persistence.I thank God for Jesus.

I look at what P.T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute". You know right from wrong. Do you best each day, that's all you can do. I am very social. I still go to church, in spurts. I meditate, trying to be More consistent on a weekly/daily basis. Remember, the story of Jesus, and Buddha, and Mohammad, etc. is just that:A STORY. Be the best you can, when you mess up(which happens daily to us all), work on doing better tomorrow.
