Hi,
I was using my Canon EOS 400D this morning. It was attached to a 50mm I.8 II lens. It had been working well until this morning, neither AF/MF was working...it could still take photos now and then but obviously the focusing isn't working.
THEN, I tried removing the lens - but failed! I pressed the button, turned the lens as usual...but it just didn't come off at all!

Has anyone ever come across the same problem? (with the same or other cameras?? )

Sometimes they get stuck. Screw it anti-clockwise. Twist forcefully.

I would take it to a camera shop in the mall and just have the person there take the lens out. Ritz is a good place to go.
