I know men can be immature at times....but women tend to be more bitchey amoungst friends, over-sensitive and tend to over react to situations. Couldn't this be considered more immature. (I know this is a generalisation and not all woman are I like this...)

Generally women are more mature. Men have their moments, especially when they're a bit older or when they find a good woman.

Maturity has nothing to do with sexes. Most people tend to say women are more mature........which is not true. The difference lies in the moment each reach maturity.
Girls tend to mature faster, at an earlier age then boys, but still this does not mean that we can say women are more mature.
It all depends on the upbringing of a person, the education and personal development.

Yes, bitchiness is a form of immaturity, but men can be bitchy too. I find it useful to differentiate behaviour between childish and childlike. The first is immature and the second is fine by me.

I think that it depends on the person. Some men are down to earth and they know what they are looking for in life; not all of them are the guys just lookin for a party. There are women who just like to party as well. It all depends on the nature of the HU(WO)MAN.

women are more immature, because they are always comparing themselves to each other, and valuing their accomplishments against those of men. Men don't need to play these games.

women are more mature, they take on more responsibilities and do things that men would never even think about as for the bitchyness etc that is down to us being more emotional so it is not the same.
