Hard choice between roast lamb and roast pork, but I think roast pork and loads of crackling with roast parsnips (yummy) roast spuds, broccoli, carrots maybe marrow fat tinned peas and Salisbury's gravy. Oh, and home made apple sauce. Yummy......
But sadly we are having a new kitchen installed tomorrow so at the moment as we have no hob, oven or work surface etc it will probably be something done with the steamer and electric grill. Still after tomorrow we hope to be back to normal.

My gran used to make plate sized Yorkshire puds and then put the roast beef & all the trimmings and gravy inside them.

Ive just started doing them every so often and they are great.

Smoked salmon with plenty of black pepper and capers. Pumpernickel and chilled. dry Champagne. Followed by a luxurious wallow in the hot tub. Then off to my favourite restaurant for a light dinner of oysters and a small dish of squid with fettuccine and salad. Naturally in the presence of my gourmet friends.
Monday it'll be back to normal - just time for a quick coffee and, if I'm lucky a chicken cervalat and some salad for dinner. Forget lunch, no time.
