Yes.
Totally agree.

"Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn Not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become arrogant in behalf of one against the other."
1 Corinthians 4:6

I used to accept that saying, but the more I looked at what passages in the bible actually taught, the more that verse caused me problems.

If it is all God-breathed, then what some of it says about the character of God is nothing short of horrifying. And I didn't come to that conclusion lightly. I was driven to it by study of the bible.

That sincere, committed, believing Christians can vastly differ on major doctrines also seems to suggest that there is no single, clear, message so divinely inspired as to be unmistakable.

Yes indeed however the ONLY Reason for studying God's Word is to "DO" what He says, if you know what God wants or you can know but you won't find out or you make a paper god that is you take verses you do like and ignore the ones around that would let you know what He is really saying and thus bow down to your own god instead of The God of The Bible than your worse off then before you started, Find out more about what God really teaches free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org OR www.itiswritten.com talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

In a manner of speaking, I suppose it is.

You do know this is synonymous with "God's Spirit", or more commonly called the "Holy Spirit". And all sacred scripture is the word of the writers, but inspired by the Holy Spirit.

No... Man is made of God's breath.....

Scripture is insipired of the man who has breath in him to reason with the message of inspiration and write down what he has been given.....

I looked in 2 translations of the bible, & neither one says it is God's Breath. You need to study more before asking a question.

If I didn't believe that I wouldn't be wasting my time hanging out in a stuffy building when I could be out doing something useful.
