April Fools' Day or Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week?

2007-03-31 21:55:36 · 11 answers · asked by Augustine 6 in Society & Culture Religion & Spirituality

Jesus M, I think you're mistaken. At least in my town, there are Baptist, Methodist and Church of Christ who are all acknowledging "Holy Week". I believe Jesus' final week during Passover is recorded in the Gospels too, so its not something exclusive to Catholics.

Lets go by instead of these so called holy days your making up or repeating someone else making up go by a THUS SAITH THE LORD and not take anything out of context okay, in Gen. when mankind was created and according to John 1 Jesus Christ was the active member of The Godhead that made us, He in Gen 2:1-3 made Holy the ONLY period of time God ever made Holy and that is The Seventh Day Sabbath and evening and morning in Gen. 1 was the first day, evening and morning were the second, so not only is the first day of creation 24 hours but sundown Friday until sundown Saturday is The Sabbath [Sunday is a man's tradition and God never made that day Holy] find out more free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com OR www.amazingfacts.org talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

Yes to the false believing Christians which are members of the Roman Catholic Church

It is just a plain Sunday for Christians that do not believe Palm Sunday.

There is no such holy week on some Christians. To the catholics only. that there is holy week.

Both apparently. But wouldn't it be funny if the April Fools joke was that it was Palm Sunday?

Who cares! It's the beginning of a new week, and we're still here!

The Rock would say, "It doesn't matter what today is!"......

When today is the only day for the rest of your life......

Yesterday has since passed.... and tomorrow is never coming.... When you open your eyes..... whether it is night or whether it is day.... it is still today..... Even if it is your last.
