Well I am a Seinfeld fan. My pup's name (9 months!) is Shmoopy. I spelled it how I wanted to spell it not, the way they did on the Soup Nazi episode.

I call her Shmoop Dog, Poopy (I am sure you know why), Moops. It works out perfect because she is adorable and sweet just like Jerry and his girlfriend were (to a fault) on that episode!

But I always said I would name my dog Putty if it was a boy.

Basically like some posters said, you have to pick one that fits the pup like my cutie name fits my cutie pup PERFECTLY and I could also incorporate an interest of mine (Seinfeld) in the name so that was a bonus...

Beau (or you could spell it Bo) is a cute, short and sweet name. I love labs, they are so cute and adorable.
