Yes I'd be honest, probably best off to show your prescription because they wont be able to tell from your test the difference between illegal potsmoking and legal pill taking. You will only have very low concentrations in your blood anyway, you use the past tense and Marinol is not like smoking marijuana in terms of how much how fast.

It is your business and it is illegal for them to ask during your interview- DO NOT TELL THEM as they may use it as means to discriminate. Use your discretion and if you feel taking the drug won't have any negative bearings on how you do the job then it is not needed to disclose.

Your drug test will be handled by an outside agency anyway that can only report a negative or positive - nothing about specifics. If you fail they will call you asking for documentation that you are prescribed marinol. Send in a pic of you prescription/pill bottle and they have to report that you passed/tested negative, thats all. They can't tell them you failed but are on a prescription because it is legal to take prescribed medication and illegal for doctors to disclose your medical information to outside parties.

Marinol is not a narcotic (referring to 1st answer above). Anyway, I agree that you should be honest, especially since the company appears to be sensitive about employees and drugs. Marinol is sanctioned by the US government, you are among the very few who get it. You should get documentation from your doctor that clearly states why you take Marinol.

It relies upon at the type of drug reveal. A urine drug reveal it in all risk would not take place. A blood drug reveal maximum in all risk might take place. i would not subject approximately it--it quite is used to handle seizures and as a temper stabilizer--as long as you have a prescription for it in the form they ask approximately it--you would be high-quality.

Honesty is the best policy. It's possible they don't want to hire someone who needs narcotics to get thru the day. sometimes it's a liability issue, and people legally shouldn't even be driving while taking narcotics. If you don't tell them, and it shows up, they probably wouldn't hire you anyway.
