My husband and I moved to a new state and we love it out west it is the best choice we ever made besides accepting the Lord and getting married. But lately it seems that we have been staying up later and later I LOVE the computer and He LOVES the TV. We have devotions after dinner and talk about the Lord and the Bible, we exspecially my husband has a very hard time slowing down at night and going to sleep.

We are taking a new members course on Sunday at 8:30 in the morning to learn about the church and we LOVE the class but when the preaching and the sermon comes we find ourselves nodding off because we are tired and we squeeze eachotherss hands to pay attention.

We are very high energy people and we just need prayer to slow down and get the right amount of rest and to have energy to honor the Lrods day and enjoy being in the presence of God and others. Could you pray for us to balance our priorites better and seek Him first? Has this ever happened to you?

To balance your priority? Only Jesus can do it for you, bacause Jon 15:4-5.
The right approach: Before turning on the TV and the Computer, each of you pray that God will measure the length of time to be spent on your Computer and TV. God can easily do the balancing of priorities after the prayer.

You also need some self control with the computer and the tv - you are not bad people, you just need to resurrect your faith in Jesus - Satan is having a ball with you because you are spending more time with things that are not to do with Jesus. Remember, Jesus loves you - turn back to him and limit your time on the computer and tv. I will remember you both in my prayers - in the meantime, ask God for the strength and the courage to do His Will. God Bless You!!

Bless you for your high motivations. I can pray for you, yes. This has an effect for you indeed.

You are allowed to direct you attention to your husband. Relationships depend on your attention to them. That means your attention, not a substitute's attention.

Relax and think about your husband. Imagine why his love is good for you. Imagine yourself doing sweet things for him and why you would want to do sweet things for him.

Imagine God giving you permission to set aside time with your man.

You are always praying. Sometimes it is with words with flowery prayers, and most of the time it is with your inner being which sends out a constant message. God gives you back what you send out.

I recommend sending out a message that you want your husband.

Best wishes.

There is choice, my dear!!!

What is more important... God will not change what you do, that is choice.....

Take time out to choose a time where you will lay yourselves down and rest from all the things you've done in a day..... Such was the purpose of the Sabbath.....

We are not to utilize our faith to force ourselves to do God's will, but to allow our faith to be free enough to feel confident in loving the way it wears on us......

Find a time, and stick to it!!!

May the grace of God bring peace upon your head and home in the name of Christ - Amen.....

congratulations that you have found each other!!! That's a good thing to hear!!!
