If you love someone when you're 18-22, you "imprint" on them and vice versa, which means that they make a huge impression on you and it really sticks with you. However, you're more likely to make a better decision about who to love when you're mature, and that takes more age and wisdom, so older sometimes works better.

I would generally tend to think that any age over, say, 18, would be ideal for being in love. Love is timeless in my opinion.
My mom is older than my dad, though not by a lot. It's totally normal in this day and age to date an older woman, provided the age difference isn't so large as to be bizarre (and that's the same age difference when the male is older.)

More then that she is just using you .
