I dated a guy for 18 months, and ended it more than six months ago. He hasn't taken it well, and he seems to be getting worse lately. I wrote him recently to tell him I don't want to be in contact with him anymore. He's been writing me anonymously to harass me, written a friend's wife and claimed I had sex with her husband, shown up at a group I normally attend, and has posed as his own mother on her email to see what I'd say to her. I filed a harassment incident report with the police, and today I called his mother and told him he's been posing as her on her email. (He said a friend has her password and it must be the friend who's doing all this, and I think she believes him.) While I'm hopeful that she will tell him to knock it off, will this cause him to escalate the harassment? Or, since she now knows that something is up, will he stop on his own? Any suggestions for what I should do next?

Well, the only person that can answere your question is he himself.Im sorry that he has taken things to far, and it sure would be frustrating for you.So my suggestion is, do what you have been doing, avoid him, dont give him the attention he is looking for, fallow threw with a restraining order.BE SAFE! make sure you are safe and some one you trust knows where you are at all times. And since he seems so unstable you need take precaution.carry some pepper spray as well.

Have a severe communique with him. tell him to offer up bothering you approximately it. Make it very sparkling how lots you do no longer want this. If he keeps pestering you, you will desire to attempt telling your friends. Have them seek advice from publicly embarrass him or something. or you will desire to easily get a restraining order, in case you may particularly no longer be so public approximately it. the two way, a restraining order could make it so he legally can no longer touch you or be too close to you.
