basically i don't like sweets so the only things i like to drink are beer, soda water, tea, coffee, and diet pop. (plain water is good too, but a little boring) most of those drinks are caffeinated. recently i've been drinking a LOT of tea, although i rarely drink coffee (which is delicious), and i wouldn't dare take those caffeine pills. i know people addicted to caffeine and they have bad bad headaches---something i do not want to have to deal with. am i flirting with addiction by drinking too many caffeinated beverages too often?

I like tea. Not as much as coffee, but when I drink it lots of times I go three cups because that's what I can get out of one tea bag.

Very unlikely you'll get addicted. Addiction is a very serious thing and it can happen with caffeine, but you need a lot of it to get addicted.

If you aren't addicted to beer you probably won't be addicted to tea.

I doubt if you will be adicted to tea. I drink a lot of tea myself but am not adicted because when the weather is cool I do ot drink tea.

Ice tea with some lemon or lime and peperming is quite good. No sugar at all. I gtow lime and peperming in the side yard and tea is socheap. I put the leaves in a cloth bag and put that in a five gallon clear glass container and sit it in the sun for two days. Add a small amount of lime juise and pepermint juice as well. It does not take vey much of either.

pour this over ice and a very nice drink. I put the tea in the 1.25 leter sodapop plastic bottles and have them in the fridge when I want tea.

I use one of those glass water bottles that are used for the water coolers in many offices.

Here it is hanging above one hundred defgrees F and I do need a lot of cool to drink.

Of course you will since caffein is a stimulate and you will crave that increase in energy and mental alertness. It of course also raises blood pressure and also is a diuretic. Why do I know a little about it? I've been addicted to caffine for 30 yrs. including the cafffein tablets. I think it has contributed to the poor health I'm in today. I think 3 'hits' of caffein per day would be acceptible, Got to go, the water has started to boil for my cup of coffee.

I'm addicted to caffeine, but I'm not worried about it.

The only downside to being addicted to it is, if for whatever reason you can't get you caffeine fix in the morning, you'll be lethargic and grumpy until you can get your hands on some !

Don't worry if you get addicted to caffiene, it's not that hard to kick the habit. I sometimes get a bad headache when I quit, but it only lasts one day and it's not a migraine or anything, just painful enough to be annoying.
