Something was mentioned in this past race about them wanting to resurface the Bristol track, and they are debating changing the banking on the track. I think it's all still up in the air right now.

They are in the process of resurfacing the track. Started Monday morning after the last race.
It will be repaved in concrete with the exact same banking and configuration, No Changes, just a new smooth surface.
Look forward to some very fast speeds for the August night race.

The banking will stay the same. The track is going to be slick and hard to race. Expect to see a lot of whiny drivers at the best race track on the circuit.

They are repaving it. It will make the surface smoother so the cars will handle better. Last week, a car would hit a bump and slide up the track. This will help control that.

New Concrete, and progressive banking, like what is seen at Las Vegas and Homestead. That I would like to see, and might bring back some action to Bristol
