Honestly? There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn’t get buff for Fight Club by drinking green tea and you won’t either.
The only way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn.
To lose weight, experts agree you need to exercise for at least 30 minutes at 60%-70% of your Max Heart Rate (MHR). A simple way to calculate MHR is 220 minus your age. So if you’re 45 years old, for example, your MHR would be 220-45=175. 60% of 175 is 105, and 70% of 175 is 122.5. So you should exercise daily for 30 minutes at a heart rate between 105 and 123.
You don’t need additional equipment—infomercial products like the Ab Lounger, Sauna Belt, etc. are all worthless gimmicks so don’t waste your money.
Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. If you don't wake up ravenous, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed. Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Become familiar with websites like http://chubbyloser.com that contain good information on what to eat, including supplements.
Don't consume alcohol—alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation—I’m not debating that—but we’re talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the belly.
Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water. If your urine isn’t almost clear, you need to drink more water.
Woof.

Xenical. I'm not sure about the legality of it, but it'll take 50 lbs off in a snap without effecting your central nervous system.
As far as excercise goes, use an elliptical machine. Nothing can burn as many calories as fast as they do. Use it at least 20 minutes a day, every day. For toning, do yoga. It is surprisingly effective and doesn't add a lot of muscle because it doesn't use weights. Home workouts are a joke, you need to hit the gym.
Don't forget the most important part; a low calorie diet consisting of lots of fruit and vegetables. Drink coffee in the morning, the caffeine will jump start your metabolism; other than that, only drink water. Get carbonated water (ie: Perrier) with a splash of cranberry juice to break up the monotony.

eat less - exercise more ($19.95 please) JK!!!! LOL
no - the goal you should have is 1-2 lbs per week -
ok to go to 5 every once in a while at first - BUT
SLOW DOWN - allow your body to catch up with your weight loss
things like gallstones are not fun
you did not put this on in one week - and you will NOT take it off in one week
so, be realistic - and you will be in great shape for the family at Christmas!
all the best!
PS as Brian said - figure out what your calorie count is to stay at your current weight = and take 15% off - when you get to your weight - refigure - and stay there!

Forget about pills or supplements. The best thing you can do is figure out what you calorie count should be for a day. If you want to drop weight fast, take in just a little less than your needed calorie count. You do not need to do this for very long. If you only consume what you should, your weight should get to what it needs to be.

just drink the following b4 and after u eat anything (even if it's just a candy bar):
-green tea
-grapefruit juice
-prune juice
-pomegranate juice
-orange juice w/ pulp (thick drinks make u feel full more often)
another is a college recipe:
-mix lowfat milk with fruit punch (makes a thick pink drink that helps destroy stored fat). it may take a while to get used to its taste, depending on a person's taste threshold.
