I noticed an hour ago he was attempting to throw up but stopped so i shrugged it off. but now, sitting next to him, his stomach noises are making me paranoid and scared... what does this mean? do you think it could a possibility for something serious?

It means his stomach is upset, same as us. Hold off food for 12-24 hours, then feed a little boiled chicken and rice to let his tummy settle down. He may have runny stool tomorrow. Not serious at this point, but keep an eye on him. If he starts vomiting or having raging diarrhea, then that would be serious. But don't panic yet.

If he was trying to be sick but was unable, I think it's definitely worth a vet visit.

You COULD try the old 'hold off food and then feed chick/rice' but I don't think it's worth the wait. For all we know, it could be gastric dilatation volvulus - a condition that is quickly fatal in dogs! He didn't have a lot of exercise after eating by any chance did he? This is the usual cause, The suggestion made to take him for a long run is therefore NOT a good idea, and certainly won't help - do you feel like a long run when your stomach hurts?

OK a vet might just tell you to starve and then feed bland food, but I think it'd be worth it just to rule out some of the more serious conditions. It just isn't worth waiting really - the trying to vomit is not a good sign.

This happens often to my dog (Jack Russel). It usually happens because her stomach is upset. This happens when she eats something she shouldn't like fabric from a toy, or people food. She also gets the stomach noises from eating grass. Some times she vomits after eating the grass and her stomach continues to make noise, so she eats more grass. If it dosn't stop take your dog to the vet. Hopefully your dog didn't eat anything bad. It happens to my dog like once month, fairly common, and I worry all the time. Perhpas some breed get it more common...would be interested in knowing what a vet has to say about it...

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUNYn

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

My dog's tummy does this when she's feeling sick. If I hear it, I let her out in the garden for her to eat some grass. She then throws up and is back to her normal self.
I would monitor it for the rest of the day and if nothing changes, get him to the vet. You know him best, so if you're feeling scared, I'd get him to the vet.

To be on the safe side, take the dog to the vet. Chances are it is nothing, but better safe then sorry when it comes to a pet or a loved one.

Probably just his digestive system working.
He may be suffering from trapped wind.
Try taking him out for a long run to see if that helps
